AFTER WE HAVE AN APPLICATION ON FILE WE WILL COMMUNICATE SPECIFICS ABOUT THAT PARTICULAR DOG. WE ARE A SMALL RESCUE, OVERWHELMED BY THE NUMBER OF DOGS WE HAVE IN OUR FOSTER PROGRAM AND ARE UNABLE TO ANSWER OR CALL UNTIL WE HAVE AN ADOPTION APPLICATION.
Louis is a 4 year old owner surrender. Louis had a very happy life with his sister bulldog until his owner got married, adding 2 more dogs to the home and then moved into another house. All these changes were just too much for Louis and he began harrassing the other dogs. Realizing that the situation wasn't fair to any of the dogs, the owners decided to surrender the two youngest to rescues (the other was a westie) and maintain the two older dogs in the home. Wonderful decision on their part as it's difficult to place senior dogs.
Louis is happy, healthy and sweet. He takes an over the counter stomach medicine to prevent "vomit drop". We are assessing whether he needs to continue this drug at this stage of his life.
Louis is in a foster home with 2 other small dogs and doing very well. He does become a bit obsessed with his ball and is searching for that perfect home who is willing to play ball with him, frequently.
Louis is neutered, heartworm negative and UTD on shots.
