Wilma's Story...
“WILLLLLMAAAA!” Wilma this, and Wilma that. “Will you just give it a rest Fred Flinstone? I’m not your emotional punching bag!” That was the last thing I said before I walked out on the bum! Now that I’m a single lady, I’m looking for a new family. I’m still young and I still have my looks to go along side my great personality. I’m fabulous with other dogs and people too. Other than my recent breakup with Fred there’s not much more I can tell you about my history, since I was a stray, but I’ve been doing great with my crate training, and I’m ready to learn other things too. I just need a nice person like you to give me a chance!!! 1 year old-10lbs. My adoption fee is $200 and includes; spay, microchip, reduced cost training class, free veterinary exam, 1 month pet health insurance, leash/collar, food sample, toy & Treat packet.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Wilma, a Portland Jack Russell Terrier/Fox Terrier (Smooth) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Jack Russell Terrier/Fox Terrier (Smooth) for sale in Portland, or seeking a Jack Russell Terrier/Fox Terrier (Smooth) dog from a breeder in Portland.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Portland already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Portland breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Jack Russell Terrier/Fox Terrier (Smooth) breeders who help with Jack Russell Terrier/Fox Terrier (Smooth) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Portland paves the way for another one to be saved.
