Xena's Story...
Need a little warrior princess in your life? Well, take a peek at me… The lovely, the talented the fabulous Xena! Don’t let this cute little face fool you, I got some spunk baby! Yeah, the name sorta suits me. Ambitious, curious and smart as a whip! I love people and kids and dogs and boy I just love to play. I am such a fun, outgoing, smiling girl. I am a wonderful size, cuter then words and I am crate-trained already, but I could use a trip to obedience class if ya know what I mean! This little princess should have to act like a warrior combatting my way through this world alone… I should be at home with a family showing off my faith, loyalty and courage as a lovable (and totally adorable) pet. 10 months old-34lbs. My adoption fee is $220 and includes; spay, microchip, reduced cost training class, free veterinary exam, 1 month pet health insurance, leash/collar, food sample, toy & Treat packet.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Xena, a Portland Golden Retriever/German Shepherd Dog dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Golden Retriever/German Shepherd Dog for sale in Portland, or seeking a Golden Retriever/German Shepherd Dog dog from a breeder in Portland.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Portland already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Portland breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Golden Retriever/German Shepherd Dog breeders who help with Golden Retriever/German Shepherd Dog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Portland paves the way for another one to be saved.
