Peggy Sue's Story...
Hi! My name is Peggy Sue. The Pet Rescue Center saved me from euthanasia at the OC Shelter on July 7th. I was so full of mats you could not find my skin and was so uncomfortable. I had no chance of getting adopted with all that hair. You could not even tell what I was. Now that I am bald and beautiful, I am feeling fantastic. The staff thinks I am just about 1 year old. I am most likely a Cairn Terrier/Maltese mix. I am also pocket size! I’m just barely 5 lbs! I am extremely sweet and would love a family to look after me. Please visit with me!
Pets are visited by appointment (times are flexible). Please email Casey Oliver at firstname.lastname@example.org to arrange a meeting time. This process allows potential adopters to spend adequate time with their prospective pet and prevents long wait times.
All interested parties must fill out an Adoption Application, which will be reviewed to find the best possible match. You can find our application online at: http://www.thepetrescuecenter.org/adoptapet.html. Completed applications can be faxed to 949-768-5759 or emailed to: email@example.com
Our adoption fee is $300 for dogs and $150 for cats, and includes spay/neuter, microchip, flea treatment, deworming, regular veterinary check-ups, and current vaccinations. This fee helps to defray the costs of medical care, supplies and boarding while the animals are in our care.
The Pet Rescue Center is a 501c3 non-profit organization that seeks to rescue, rehabilitate, and rehome pets from high kill shelters and is temporarily housed inside the Alicia Pet Care Center at 25800 Jeronimo Rd. Suite 100, Mission Viejo, CA 92691.
