Here's what the humans have to say about me:
This is our other resident Peanut. He is a beautiful Border Collie mix with gorgeous chocolate and black coloration. He has lived on a farm as a working dog all his life, he is only 9 months old. Being that he was always outdoors, he spooks very easily and needs to learn to build confidence. He had never been on a leash before, but is adjusting wonderfully. Peanut really likes people and has a very gentle sweet personality. We don't recommend her for an active household with children.
All dogs at our shelter have been started on a vaccination program, de-wormed, screened for heartworm and started on heartworm preventative, treated with Advantage for fleas, spayed/neutered and microchipped. The adoption fee for a dog is $140. If you are a PA resident, you will also be required to purchase a dog license. There are 2 licensing options : annual licenses are $6.50 and are renewable every January. Lifetime licenses are $31.50 and never need to be renewed.
