Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Nelson is a handsome, approximately 9 month old, male yellow lab who was dropped off at a high kill shelter in south Georgia. As soon as LFS agreed to take him, he became very ill with Parvo. Our wonderful contact from the area, pulled him from the shelter immediately, took him to her vet and then nursed him back to health. He is finally well enough to travel to Atlanta and become the latest addition to the LFS gang. Nelson rode for 3 hours this morning in the car and never said a word. The only sound I heard coming from the back seat for the hour and a half I had him, was his tail thumping against the seat in a constant wag. As you can see from the pictures, Nelson could stand to gain some weight. So far he gets along well with my dogs, loves food, sits on command and is full of puppy kisses. He loved going for a walk, but will need some leash training. Check back for more information as we learn more about sweet boy Nelson.
