Sidney's Story...
Sid is a super-smart, fun, affectionate girl who was rescued from being put down at the city shelter. She's a beautiful, unusual-looking dog and our best guess is that she has Boxer and American Bulldog in her. She's about 1 year old and 48 pounds. She's very social and loves everyone she meets. She also loves other dogs and enjoys running/wrestling with them (she's obsessed with tennis balls and loves toys!). She's a very active girl who does need some obedience training, but aside from that she would be a terrific family dog (with children 7 and older) and would especially enjoy a home with a back yard. Sidney is already spayed, fully vaccinated, and heartworm tested. Please give this special dog a new start in life!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Sidney, a Brooklyn Boxer/American Bulldog dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Boxer/American Bulldog for sale in Brooklyn, or seeking a Boxer/American Bulldog dog from a breeder in Brooklyn.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Brooklyn already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Brooklyn breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Boxer/American Bulldog breeders who help with Boxer/American Bulldog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Brooklyn paves the way for another one to be saved.
