Joey's Story...
JOEY is an apricot Poodle who was confiscated by Sedgwick County Animal Control from a home with way too many animals. He, Jaqulin, Jack, and Joseph came together and may be related. Joey is a confident little guy who enjoys being with people. He is crate trained and doing well on his house training, although it will have to be with supervision for awhile because of the conditions under which they were kept. He is about 10 lbs and will soon look really great when his hair grows out, as he had to be shaved for the most part due to mats when he was confiscated

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Joey, a Wichita Poodle (Toy or Tea Cup) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Poodle (Toy or Tea Cup) for sale in Wichita, or seeking a Poodle (Toy or Tea Cup) dog from a breeder in Wichita.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Wichita already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Wichita breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Poodle (Toy or Tea Cup) breeders who help with Poodle (Toy or Tea Cup) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Wichita paves the way for another one to be saved.
