Rose's Story...
Rose was rescued by good samaritans when she was dumped in a grocery store parking lot. She was matted and covered with fleas and ticks thus has some hair loss. It will just take a little time to grow back but she is now groomed, clean and healthy. She will follow you like a shadow. She is very sweet and loving and loves children. Other dogs imtimadate her tho as she is pretty small. She is on heartworm and flea prevention, has had all shots, wormed and spayed. Her adoption fee is 400.00. Please consider Rose for your future addition to your family

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Rose, a Hartford Shih Tzu dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Shih Tzu for sale in Hartford, or seeking a Shih Tzu dog from a breeder in Hartford.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Hartford already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Hartford breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Shih Tzu breeders who help with Shih Tzu rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Hartford paves the way for another one to be saved.
