Marielle is a beautiful and extremely sweet cat who was found outside, alone in the snow, with a terrible cold. She is nearly 3 years old now, has bounced back wonderfully, but is still waiting for a home of her own. While we don't know her background, she has the gorgeous grey coat of a Russian Blue, with a tiny white spot on her throat and a white abdomen. Marielle is a very shy cat and needs a home with someone very patient, who has experience adopting shy cats. She initially hides from strangers but once she knows and trusts you, she is VERY affectionate, loves to sit in your lap to be stroked and petted and will often roll over for you to rub her belly. She is a very playful little girl and LOVES batting the ball around on the turbo track. Her foster mom is crazy about her and would keep her if she didn't already have so many cats of her own. Marielle loves the company of other cats and would do best in a home with another, non-aggressive cat. Although she is not used to being alone, she would probably adjust to being an only cat if someone were home to keep her company most of the day. She is a quiet, gentle cat and would do best with calm or older children. She has been vet checked, has tested negative for FeLV/FIV, and has been spayed. All she needs now is a forever home with someone willing to give her the time to get to know you. If you can give this beautiful cat the loving home she deserves, please call 845-641-0092 and leave a message.
