Ebony's Story...
My name is "Ebony!" I am a lovely girl with big beautiful eyes (check out my pictures!) and a soft silky coat. I'm just a youngster, maybe just a year. I'm quite friendly and love to have my ears scritched. In fact, my favorite thing to do is curl up on a lap and watch TV while getting my ears scritched! I also love to play Chase The Thingamajig On A String. the other day, Cupid whispered in my ear that someone would fall in love with me. Could it be you? You could make my Valentine Wish come true!!

You can't go wrong with this gal! So, come on in to our Cat Room and ask to visit with her. She's worth the effort, so please come in and look for her. This lovely lady has been here a long time and she's sadly watched all the little kittens get adopted for the holidays. Now, it's her turn to find some happiness! Make her a lucky ADOPTED kitty and she will bring you good luck! She has a HEART of gold!! She's in kennel #123.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Ebony, a El Cajon Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in El Cajon, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in El Cajon.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in El Cajon already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a El Cajon breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in El Cajon paves the way for another one to be saved.
