My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Registered Name: Hot Foot Maddox
Little Man got his nickname because he is so small for a greyhound. He is only 60 lbs, and is almost fully grown at 19 months. He is sweet, very gentle, docile, and easy going, yet very playful. Little Man was trained for racing, but really had no interest in chasing anything, so he never qualified for the track and was sent back to his farm where we picked him up. He has lived with other dogs and cats in his foster home, and gets along well with all of them. Since he is still a very young dog, his new owner will need to monitor Little Man to make sure he does not taste and possily chew on objects around the house. We tried Little Man in a home as an only pet, and he was not happy in that situation, so he will need to be in a home with another dog. While in training for racing, Little Man was attacked by another dog and had some injuries which have now healed. He has a slight scar on his neck, but otherwise is fine. He is very docile and a very "alpha" dog will take advantage of him. He would do well in a home with other gentle dogs like himself. If you are looking for a young and smaller greyhound, and want a sweet and playful companion, please come out and see Little Man. His $250 adoption fee includes his neuter, teeth cleaning, all vaccines, microchip, leash and collar, adoption guide, grooming mitt, and stuffie toy.
