Rescue Group Info...

About Our Rescue Group...
We are a group of volunteers spread throughout the United States (and even a couple in Canada) who are dedicated to advocating for blind and visually impaired dogs by rescuing dogs in shelters, helping blind dog owners, and educating the public. We formed in 2009, though our members have many years of experience in rescue, and in blind dogs.

We are always looking for volunteers; let us know if you want to help out! Volunteer@BlindDogRescue.com

We are a 501(c)(3) nonprofit group, and all donations are tax deductible.

Our Adoption Process...
Interested in adopting a BDRA Dog? Simply fill out our application.

All of our dogs are spayed or neutered, up to date on vaccinations, heartworm negative and on heartworm and flea/tick preventive.

We ask a $200 adoption fee. This does not begin to cover the vetwork we do on our dogs, which is why
we are always fundraising!

Please email info@blinddogrescue.com with any questions.

We Serve the Following Cities, Towns, and/or Counties...
Davidson County, and we will arrange transport anywhere to an approved adopter.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Zara, a Spring City Brittany dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Brittany for sale in Spring City, or seeking a Brittany dog from a breeder in Spring City.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Spring City already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Spring City breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Brittany breeders who help with Brittany rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Spring City paves the way for another one to be saved.
