Snoopy's Information:

Snoopy is a super sweet 8 year old Shepard Mix (vet paperwork says Chow?) who was rescued by a kindhearted vet tech when she was brought in to be put down by her owner. She is a low/medium activity level girl who loves going on adventures in the car. She enjoy her walks at a comfortable pace where she can trot for a bit and then slow down to sniff. Snoopy is a friendly, social girl who loves greeting everyone on her walks. She is fine with other dogs as long as they are friendly towards her as well as cats. She doesn't like high energy dogs that bark at her as she was bit by another dog in her past. She is living in foster with one blind medium energy dog and 3 cats and gets along just fine with all of them and even will sleep in same bed with the dog. She does very well in a calm environment. She has very good inside doggy manners, including being house broken. She has had some basic obedience training and is very eager to please. She is very well behaved and very smart and knows how to sit, down, and stay. She will come when you call her. She loves playing tug of war with her foster mom. Snoopy loves more than anything to snuggle with you on the couch and will politely wait till you invite her up. She does have a little vision in one eye. It is hard to know she is blind. She does very well off leash in an open field and will come when you call her. Snoopy has no problems being left alone while you are at work as she loves a good snooze on the couch. She will greet you at the door with a burst of excitement. Snoopy has so much love to give. She loves to be loved on and will nudge your arm for more. She rarely barks and when she does will stop if you say “leave it”. Snoopy is a very easy enjoyable dog to be with. Snoopy was not properly cared for by past owner which caused her to get diabetes and go blind. She needs her medicine before her meals. Don’t let it scare you from her as insulin is very affordable at Walmart and very easy to administer. Snoopy has had 3 owners in her 8 years and is looking for her final loving furever family that will give her the love and care she so deserves.

Vet said "she is one very sweet happy dog" that has a lot of years left on her.
