Tiger Lily's Info...

I am already spayed, housetrained, up to date with shots, good with kids, not good with dogs, and not good with cats.

Tiger Lily's Story...
Tiger was being kept in junk yard chained up to a fence, pregnant, very much underweight with no food or water and covered in dirt.

Tiger was severely underweight, I was very concerned for her health and the health of the puppies.
After a solid week of fattening Momma Tiger up, 12 puppies were born, 9 survived and are healthy happy growing Pit Bulls.

Every puppy has been placed in a wonderful home, and yet Tiger still awaits hers everyday.

Tiger loves people and is wonderful with children, even very small children. She loves to have her chin scratched and if you stop she will nudge you for more!

She can sit, stay, and walk on a leash without pulling. If you love to talk long slow walks and snuggle up and watch movies then Tiger is the companion for you!

Tiger was never socialized with other animals in her life, she was used mainly for breeding, because of this she must be the only animal in the house. How ever her dog to dog reactions on leash are controlled, she will sit and listen as other dogs pass.

Tiger is about 6 years old and will be adopted out up to date on shots, micro-chipped, and spayed.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Tiger Lily, a Pittsbugh American Pit Bull Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a American Pit Bull Terrier for sale in Pittsbugh, or seeking a American Pit Bull Terrier dog from a breeder in Pittsbugh.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Pittsbugh already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Pittsbugh breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even American Pit Bull Terrier breeders who help with American Pit Bull Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Pittsbugh paves the way for another one to be saved.
