My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi, My name is Adaire. I weigh 55 pounds (although a girl shouldn't tell her weight to anyone) pit bull mix who is about 2 years old. I was taken into foster this March and my foster Mom says I am very smart, sweet, and affectionate. I get along well with my foster brother (although he is older and does not like to play). I will happily climb into your lap for love and kisses! I am housetrained and love being walked. I am walking great on a leash and respond to both voice commands and hand signals. I am looking forward to attending basic obedience classes next month! I am used to being in a crate when left alone (as long as I have my toys). I love smelling everything and I am very interested in scents when walking, a good job for me may be Tracking!

My foster Mom has me on a routine which works well for both of us. She takes me for a brisk walk in the morning, then I am crated (extra-large one) while Mom is at work. Then another long walk when Mom gets home. I play with my toys while in my crate. At night I get to sleep on the sofa (or in Mom’s room) because I do not chew anything!

The best home for me is one where I can play, train, and be loved (I am told, I am a lover). I am young, energetic, and like to play! I play bow when I meet other dogs and sometimes can be rambunctious but I am always friendly. I would not be good in a home with cats or other small animals. I also need to be in a yard with a high fence, as I am able to leap small fences.

I would love to meet my forever parent(s) and play fetch and/or go for long walks! Are you the one???
