My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Gibson came to BHRG from the shelter in Chattooga County where he was picked up as a stray. He's a small, tri-colored boy who is about 1 year old. After visiting one of our BHRG vets, it was determined that Gibson was hit by a car and his pelvis was broken. Gibson was put on "crate rest" and has now healed. Gibson is a small basset and thinks he belongs in your lap. He is very loving and cuddly yet wants to be playful too. Everyone who meets Gibson just falls in love with him. He enjoys other dogs - big or small - and will need a playmate in his new home as he will get too bored and get into things. He loves toys, and he is a chewer - normal for a basset his age. Gibson is now housetrained with a dog door, and his skin issues have cleared up. He is looking healthy, feeling great, and is ready to find a forever family!
