Here's what the humans have to say about me:
update 8/18/2011: Bertie is still available for adoption. Please visit her on weekends at PetsMart or e-mail us for an application.
7/25/2011: Bertie is a 10 week old, short haired, tabby, spayed female kitten. She is a very sweet and social kitten. Bertie has been hand raised by a loving foster family. She has been around nice children, other cats and kittens, and dogs and would do well in most situations. She is outgoing and loving and ready for her new home. Please stop by PetsMart on the weekends to visit her or e-mail us to find out more about Bertie.
We have many cats and kittens available for adoption throughout the year. Our kittens are in foster homes during the week where they receive the love and attention they need to grow and thrive.
You can e-mail us at spcagainesville@hotmail.com for an adoption application or visit some of our cats and kittens each weekend on Saturdays and Sundays from 11am-3pm at PetsMart in Butler Plaza on Archer Road in Gainesville. Our adoption coordinator, Robin, will be there to answer any questions you may have. All of our cats and kittens have been leukemia tested, vet checked, vaccinated, dewormed, treated for fleas with advantage, spayed or neutered and microchipped prior to adoption. They also receive any other necessary treatment while in our program such as treatment for ear mites, respiratory infections, etc. Our adoption fee is $100 to help cover a portion of the medical and care costs.
