Sasha's Story...
Hello my name is Sasha! I am originally a 2 year old Kansas Livestock Pyr. This Texas rescue group went to Kansas to get me into a better living environment and so I am now living in Caddo Mills, Texas. I am again happy being the pasture dog I was born and bred to be. My foster mom says I do very well in guarding the little baby goats. I am a little shy, but when I get to know you I will come to you. I work very well with other Pyrs within the livestock pack and from time to time we play Pyr games while we watch the goats. I ask that when I am adopted I hope it is at a home with other dogs to play with and animals to guard. My foster mom says that there is another livestock Pyr within the pack that makes a great guardian pair with me. Ask my foster mom about him when you call. We both have nice long straight hair that doesn't get as matted as the Pyrs with the curls. If you are a family in need of livestock guardians then we are the Pyrs for you!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Sasha, a Kyle Great Pyrenees dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Great Pyrenees for sale in Kyle, or seeking a Great Pyrenees dog from a breeder in Kyle.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Kyle already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Kyle breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Great Pyrenees breeders who help with Great Pyrenees rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Kyle paves the way for another one to be saved.
