Ms. Pibbs's Info...
I am already spayed, housetrained, up to date with shots, good with kids, and good with dogs.
This is Ms. Pibbs AKA Mama Pibble. She was living in the woods and asking for handouts from homes in the neighborhood after someone abandoned her. No one really knows how long she lived this way but it is believed to have been at least a year as she had numerous litters of pups while homeless.. Poor Mama Pibbs - no one would take her in and help her but time after time her pups were either killed or taken to local parking lots and given away. Mama didn't understand what happened to her puppies and would wander restlessly throughout the surrounding woods looking for them, thinking perhaps she would find her little ones. Each time, she was left all alone to fend for herself with little food, no medical attention, getting run away from house after house, just searching for her babies and looking for food. Not a mean bone in her body but no one to help her.
Then the fireworks started on New Year's Eve. She didn't know what the noise was, only that it made her scared and she couldn't resist the urge to run. She ran, totally exhausted for now she was carrying another litter of unborn pups and with little nourishment, she sooncould go no farther and collapsed deep in the woods. Mama Pibbble slept, hoping her strength would return so she could find food and a nesting place for her soon coming pups. Still exhausted and oh so hungry, with the coming of morning she crawled from her hiding place and saw a new group of houses she had never seen before. She didn't know where she was or how far she had run and she had no clue where she should go next. She spotted a house with people in the yard and walked toward it, ever conscious of the fact she could be run away again. She gently eased up to the back yard and lay herself down, covered in ticks and too tired to go any further.
Ms. Pibbs made it to Sweetpups that day and was given a nice bed, lots of food, and a lot of attention. The people were friendly and she immediately trusted them. She ate well and then lay down to rest and slept for two entire days before getting back up!
Mama Pibbs gave birth in less than one week to seven beautiful babies which were kept at Sweetpups until adoptable. Now it's Mama's turn to find a home, another place like Sweetpups that will love her for who she is, the absolutely beautiful Ms. Pibbs!
Ms. Pibbs has to be at least three years old, is up on all vaccines and spayed. She is low heartworm positive and on prevention.
