When rescued I had never been brushed as you can see by before picture, and I had knots in my hair, so my foster mom got me what is called a lion cut. Arg!! I feel free and brave, but of course all the other cats are laughing at me saying I am still small, but I am working on a roar to pretend ot scare them!!!!!

I am shy at first but very sweet and loving and love to be held

Great with other cats and dogs and living iwht two otehr cats now and a big retriever dog named Jake. I like him

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Missy, a Long Beach Domestic Longhair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Longhair for sale in Long Beach, or seeking a Domestic Longhair cat from a breeder in Long Beach.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Long Beach already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Long Beach breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Longhair breeders who help with Domestic Longhair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Long Beach paves the way for another one to be saved.
