Mick's Story...
This stout boy is Mick. Mick is a typical Staffy. He is strong and will pull pretty hard on the leash. He needs someone to train him, he is so smart that he would be a fast learner. He is not good with other animals his size right now or with cats. That doesn't mean he couldn't learn to be but right now, he is not He does have a small dog roommate and he does fine with. This boy is just beautiful and will turn some heads anywhere. He just needs someone that is familiar with his breed that will give him the time he needs to help him be a GREAT pet. Why Adoption is a Great Option

Mick, a Shelbyville American Pit Bull Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a American Pit Bull Terrier for sale in Shelbyville, or seeking a American Pit Bull Terrier dog from a breeder in Shelbyville.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Shelbyville already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Shelbyville breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even American Pit Bull Terrier breeders who help with American Pit Bull Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Shelbyville paves the way for another one to be saved.
