Maddie's Info...

I am already spayed, housetrained, purebred, up to date with shots, good with kids, good with dogs, and good with cats.

Maddie's Story...
Maddie was found as a stray and after all efforts were made to find an owner, she was put into foster care. She is a beautiful, small purebred Cocker Spaniel. Maddie is so laid back and friendly with everyone. She really gets attached to her person and loves laying on the couch next to you. She has been spayed, UTD on shots and is ready for her forever home. We are looking for a special home for Maddie because she is a very special dog. We estimate her age at around 5 years old. She is house trained, crate trained and does pretty well on a leash. If you love Cocker Spaniels, you'll love Maddie. She does well with other dogs and children. She would be great for a couple or a family. For more information or an application, email scollins45@yahoo.com Application and adoption fee of $125 required.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Maddie, a Hillsville Cocker Spaniel dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Cocker Spaniel for sale in Hillsville, or seeking a Cocker Spaniel dog from a breeder in Hillsville.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Hillsville already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Hillsville breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Cocker Spaniel breeders who help with Cocker Spaniel rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Hillsville paves the way for another one to be saved.
