Isabella's Info...
| Breed: | Domestic Shorthair | Color: | Black & White Or Tuxedo | Age: | Adult |
| Sex: | Unknown | ID#: | 3687835-CG | Hair: | Unknown |
I am already spayed/neutered, housetrained, and up to date with shots.
Foster Mom's Report: I was asked to foster and evaluate Isabella as she was frightened at the adoption center and would strike at the volunteers and other cats. She was found on the street so we had no history, nor did we have any way of knowing how long she'd been out there (or what she had been through out there!). We had to consider the possibility that Isabella would be a 'barn cat' - so I brought her home to see if I could get her to come out of her shell.
I am EXTREMELY excited to report that Isabella is a LOVEABLE, AFFECTIONATE, SWEETHEART! After a brief introduction period, she became comfortable with my dog. However, my dog is nearly 12 and is quite lazy. If she were a jumpy puppy, I doubt Isabella would have been able to feel comfortable. Today (2 months later) they sleep in the same room, sit next to each other and walk past each other with no issues. If she is scared, she'll just find a quiet spot in a room or in the basement and hang out there for a while.
Isabella is vocal when you come home, quite happy to see you! She'll rub her face right into yours and settle in close to you if you're watching TV, etc. I have been able to pick her up with no issues. I have petted her aggressively to try and test her threshold and she hasn't swatted at me one single time - not in all of the time I have had her at home. She is content, sweet and full of purrs.
IN SUMMARY: Isabella will be a perfect addition to any family that doesn't have aggressive or overly-energetic pets or children or a generally chaotic atmosphere. She just needs to realize that she's safe. Once you get to spend some time with her and you get to see first hand how loveable she is, you will fall in love with her. It's sad to think of what she must have had to endure out there. But if you give her a chance, you will not be disappointed in her disposition at all. She just wants to be close to someone who loves her!
