Bee's Story...
Please contact Gail (gailspets@yahoo.com) for more information about this pet.

My name is Bee.  I am a 2 month old (as of the middle of July) Border Collie/mix male puppy.  I recently arrived at Gail's Pets with my two sisters, Deb and Kelley, after a lady named Debbie Kelley surrendered me to a local vet.  (I am named for her!)  I just arrived at Gail’s Pets and they definitely have fallen in love with me. I love to cuddle, cuddle, and cuddle.  I don't know how to walk on a leash yet, but I think I'll be a quick learner!

I have not been neutered, but that will happen soon.  And, I will start on my vaccinations and heart worm preventative soon.  If you'd like to make me a part of your family and give me a forever home, please contact Gail Ross by phone at (870) 431-8229 or via e-mail at gailspets@yahoo.com.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Bee, a Oakland Border Collie puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Border Collie for sale in Oakland, or seeking a Border Collie puppy from a breeder in Oakland.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Oakland already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Oakland breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Border Collie breeders who help with Border Collie rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Oakland paves the way for another one to be saved.
