Buddy's Story...
Are You Looking for Mr. Right? Well look no further because here I am and more. I am smart, loveable, will listen to all of your problems, keep you warm at night and am definitely not picky as to which movies we watch as long as we are together. I just want a home where I can spend my days with you doing whatever you want to do. So here is what I like: love and more love, long walks, the park, cats (f only they would play with me – I am really sweet), dogs to wrestle with, and good movies. I am a 10 month old Australian Shepherd mix (Mom was an Aussie) and they said Dad was a lab. I take after my Dad’s side I guess. I am crate trained, ride quietly in the car, play well with others at the dog park, walk quietly on a leash, and take treats very gently.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Buddy, a Colorado Springs Australian Shepherd/Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Australian Shepherd/Labrador Retriever for sale in Colorado Springs, or seeking a Australian Shepherd/Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in Colorado Springs.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Colorado Springs already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Colorado Springs breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Australian Shepherd/Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Australian Shepherd/Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Colorado Springs paves the way for another one to be saved.
