Blondie's Story...
Blondie is the mother of Boris. She is very smart, sits on command and is a wonderful mother. She is a very gentle dog, about 5 to 6 years old. She has had several litters of puppies and will be spayed on Wednesday Dec 27. She loves to ride in the car, jumps right in and sits. She would be a wonderful companion, she stays right by the house and gets along well with the other dogs, even with her puppy there.
If you would like to learn more about Blondie, please feel free to contact her foster parents Pat and Gary at

CLAW's adoption donation for a dog is $100.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Blondie, a Canton Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever for sale in Canton, or seeking a Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in Canton.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Canton already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Canton breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Canton paves the way for another one to be saved.
