Hi, my name in Maggie and I'm a 4-5 yr old silver female weim. I am definitely out of my puppy stage and I just like to hang out and relax with you. I do have bursts of energy every once in a while and I enjoy going for long walks. I am more people than dog oriented, but I do get along with other dogs once I warm up to them. My foster mom and I have been working on leash manners - I now heel very nicely and know to "sit" at every street corner. I am a really smart girl and we are also working on obedience training. I have mastered the art of "sit" and "lay down", we are working on "wait". I have taken to my crate very nicely although I had never been in one before- I am now 100% cratetrained and love to go "night nights" in my crate! I need a forever home, someone who will give me love and affection. Do you want to meet me? I am being fostered with Jodi in Gainesville, FL.
**Maggie is a really good girl and has the sweetest face. She was pulled from a kill facility in central florida and was in bad shape. After some TLC, a nice bath, and some good food she is doing much better. She is being treated for Heartworms and will be available for adoption in late Feb/early March. She is UTD on shots, microchipped, and spayed.**
***Maggie was adopted then returned to rescue because she likes cats in the dinner sense, so she cannot go to a home with small furry animals, please. Other than that she is an excellent dog, is very obedient and is also very good with kids***
