Danielle's Story...
What a pretty blue eyed girl I am! My owners left me to fend for myself, and I really wasn't good at it, because I was so very thin. I'm declawed, so I wasn't very good at catching food - I'm an indoor kitty!!! Since RCHS took me in, I've been doing alot better - now all I need is a true loving home! I've been FIV/FELV tested, spayed, vaccinated, and microchipped. If you'd like to know more about me, please contact Karen at k.pacey@sbcglobal.net or call 314-638-5128

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Danielle, a St. Louis Snowshoe cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Snowshoe for sale in St. Louis, or seeking a Snowshoe cat from a breeder in St. Louis.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in St. Louis already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a St. Louis breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Snowshoe breeders who help with Snowshoe rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in St. Louis paves the way for another one to be saved.
