My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

I am a male yellow Lab mix. I am about 7 years old. I am neutered, heartworm negative, current on shots, micro-chipped and on heartworm and flea preventative. My adoption is $150.

I am on medication for a thyroid condition. It is inexpensive medication and if I don’t take it, I loose my fur. I looked pretty rough when I arrived to the rescue. I have also been treated for double ear infections!!

I was part of a seizure of 261 dogs from a rescue home in Polk County. While the seizure was not entirely justified and it was ruled that we were not supposed to be taken by animal control, we still had to sit there waiting for 4 months to be released. Since there are aspects of the case still pending, custody was awarded to A New Beginning so that we could get out of that shelter and not have to sit there any longer.

The pets are available to be seen at our adoption events on weekends at the Petsmart in Altamonte Springs on Saturday from 11-5 and Sunday from 12-5.
