Cookie was found as a stray, and since it would be impossible for her to run away from home, it seems likely that she was simply abandoned by her owners. A kind woman saved her and contacted BDRA to see if we could help. Cookie is a sweet loving dog who gets along well with other dogs. She is house trained, barking to go out and come in. She loves being held and petted, and finds her way around the house and yard with no difficulty at all. She does not like tile floor, but we are working with her on that. She is a great pet, since she knows how to live in a home and behave herself. She sleeps through the night in her doggie bed without making a sound or a mess. She will be a real treasure for her new family.
