Nino's Info...

I am already neutered and up to date with shots.

Nino's Story...
Nino is a sweet older boy who finds himself in the shelter after his owner passed away. He has adapted to the environment well and out on walks or in his kennel is very outgoing and loving. Nino is a strong guy, so his new guardian should probably be an experienced dog-owner who can set good boundaries. We hope that Nino finds his forever home soon, having been wrenched from his former home so suddenly (and for Nino, so confusingly).

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Nino, a Berkeley American Pit Bull Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a American Pit Bull Terrier for sale in Berkeley, or seeking a American Pit Bull Terrier dog from a breeder in Berkeley.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Berkeley already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Berkeley breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even American Pit Bull Terrier breeders who help with American Pit Bull Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Berkeley paves the way for another one to be saved.
