Tiggy's Story...
Tiggy female blk/gry tiger with white 4-20-11 dob
I am the female member of the posse which is comprised of me, Squishy and Mitts. Those boys think that they rule, but have I got news for them. I may be the smallest, but that gives me the advantage. I am faster and can scoot under them to chase that laser light and feather. I can also get to the disk quicker too when mom shoots the Zoom-O for us. They are usually on an available lap before me, but I just squeeze my little self into the pile. My purr motor can compete with theirs any day of the week. Come meet us.
Call our foster mom, Carol, she loves to talk about us, .

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Tiggy, a Port Republic Domestic Shorthair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Port Republic, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair kitten from a breeder in Port Republic.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Port Republic already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Port Republic breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Port Republic paves the way for another one to be saved.
