Porky (Adopted)'s Story...
ADOPTION SPECIAL! Through August 7th, 2011, all adoption fees lowered to $40!!
Porky is a sweet, loving, and playful little purr machine who loves getting belly rubs! He loves playing with his cat siblings, but happily curls up on your lap for snuggle when he's done. He's also a big fan of jingle balls and anything that taunts him from a string. Porky was bottle-fed from 1 week old, so he's very used to being handled and is gentle when picked up. He is being raised in a foster home with other cats and dogs (and children that visit), and he does just fine with them all. Porky would love to go to a home with other cats or kids to keep him occupied, but a loving forever would make him very happy. Porky is neutered, FIV/FELV negative, and current on all vaccinations.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Porky (Adopted), a Trenton Domestic Shorthair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Trenton, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair kitten from a breeder in Trenton.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Trenton already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Trenton breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Trenton paves the way for another one to be saved.
