Floyd was trapped in a Springfield neighborhood 3 weeks ago...another unwanted stray . He had a badly mangled front leg which he had been running on for 2 years according to one of the neighbors. While all he wanted was some kindness (and help!), the neighbors hated him and always ...shoo'd him away. How he survived is a testiment to this boy's spirit! Money was raised by a big hearted rescuer to have Floyd's leg amputated, a dental done and full vetting. He's about 3 yrs old and is such a love!! Floyd is fully recovered. He is walking around strengthening his muscles, using his litter pan and even jumped up on his foster dad's lap! Floyd comes when you call him, follows his foster family around and uses the stairs with no problem at all. He loves to be petted & brushed and is eager to settle in to a forever home where he'll receive lots of attention!. Perhaps you can be part of Floyd's happy ending?...
