Fabio's Story...
My name is Fabio. I was named that because I love to have my picture taken. In fact, I love to pose for pictures. I am a 6 month-old Italian Greyhound. I was found in northern Arkansas and taken to a local vet, where I stayed a couple of days for observation and was given a clean bill of health. I arrived at Gail's Pets and I love it here. There are all sorts of other dogs to play with, plus I get lots of attention including tummy rubs from my human companions. I am laid back, but at the same time I love to play.

I have been neutered, and am in the process of completing my vaccinations. I am on a heartworm preventative. If you'd like to make me a part of your family and give me a forever home, please contact Gail Ross by phone at (870) 431-8229 or via e-mail at gailspets@yahoo.com.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Fabio, a Oakland Italian Greyhound puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Italian Greyhound for sale in Oakland, or seeking a Italian Greyhound puppy from a breeder in Oakland.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Oakland already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Oakland breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Italian Greyhound breeders who help with Italian Greyhound rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Oakland paves the way for another one to be saved.
