Taylor's Story...
I'm Taylor, a beautiful 3-4 year old 12 lb pomeranian. My human mommy has gone to heaven and I'm here all alone and very afraid. I don't let anyone touch me, I'm not snappy, but I run away every time. I'm not a social boy when it come to people, but I LOVE to play with other small dogs ! My new home needs to have a small doggie friend for me so I can feel secure. I'm housebroken and well behaved, but I'm nervous all the time. I need a quiet home with a patient person and no kids. My adoption fee is $100. I'm neutered, vaccinated, heartworm negative, and microchipped. To find out more about me call (757) 432-9222.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Taylor, a Norfolk Pomeranian dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Pomeranian for sale in Norfolk, or seeking a Pomeranian dog from a breeder in Norfolk.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Norfolk already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Norfolk breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Pomeranian breeders who help with Pomeranian rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Norfolk paves the way for another one to be saved.
