My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

UPDATED BIO 02/03/2011: Logan is an adorable 4 year old 12 lb little man who is being fostered in Miami, FL. While he's had a "ruff" past, that's all behind him now!! Here's what he has to say about his search for a FURever home:
"Hi everypuppy!! My name is Logan! I've been in foster care for 7 long months. I'm not sure why because Foster Mommy tells me I'm one of the sweetest boys ever! I love to play fetch. I love belly rubs. I love long walk. I love the water and the beach.
When I was rescued, I had a long recovery from stones in my bladder. The Dogtors did a surgery where I don't pee from the same place most boy dogs do. That's so that if ever I get a new stone, it can pass without an expensive surgery. Cool huh? I think that's what's been scaring people off about me. Thhey think I've got this medical problem that's difficult to manage, but it's not. I eat a special diet (no treats please) and that's it. Sure, I have to see a vet every year like other dogs, but no biggie. :)
Anyway, if you're looking for an active buddy who's just as happy going for a walk as he is taking a nap and lounging, I'm the guy for you. I'd love a home with kids or active adults who would love a companion. Thank you!!!!"

UPDATED BIO 12/11/2011: Logan here! I'm still waiting for my FURever home! I sure do hope I get a new home for the new year. Do you like my outfit? My shirt says "I ate Santa's cookies", but you can't see that part. FM laughs because I am not allowed to eat Santa's cookies.... but I told her it's just a shirt...... sigh.... FMs. :)

Anyway, I have been waiting patiently. Can you please be my Holiday miracle??

UPDATED BIO 11/15/2011: Logan is a sweet, spunky little guy who was
rescued 3 months ago just in the nick of time from a high kill
shelter. See, Logan had a bladder stone that was blocking where he was
supposed to urinate from. UYR saved this little guy, got him his
lifesaving surgery, and now he's all fixed up and ready for his
FURever home!

Logan is 4.5 years old and 11 lbs of lovin'. He is being fostered in
Miami, FL. He LOVES to play fetch and loves to go for walks. He
tolerates the other dogs in the home, but Logan really does prefer to
be the one and only. He would love a responsible child in the home who
would play with him and especially a big backyard with a fence (though
it isn't necessary). Logan is also happy to entertain himself chewing
on a gummy nylabone. He knows how to tell you what he wants. He's a
smarty-pants. Logan will always have to be on prescription food to
reduce the likelihood of the stones returning, but he had a special
procedure done so that if he does make more stones, they should come
out another opening, lessening the risk that he will ever have a
problem again. He has an accidents once in a great while, but in a
home with more consistency and possibly a backyard, it will likely not
be an issue. He really is a sweetheart! He'll be your best buddy.
