My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi! My name is Venus. I was born May 21st and I will be ready to go to a new family around July 22nd. I'm a shorthaired, female grey tabby kitten who loves my littermates - Coal (male black), Coppertone (male orange tabby) and Serena (my identical twin). I'm very sweet, loving and playful. I'm figuring out what cat toys are all about and I already use a litterbox like a good kitten. Please give me a home to call my own. Adoption fee: $100 and includes testing, deworming, vaccinations and neuter. Adopt a pair: $150.

Meet Venus and join us for the second annual Paws in the Park dog walk and adoption event on Sunday, August 21st, noon to 4 p.m. at Independence Oaks County Park - Lakeview Picnic Pavilion, 9501 Sashabaw, Clarkston. Adoption Process:
Complete the application at the link above or send an email to info@pawsforliferescue.org to tell us which pet you're interested in and we'll send you a questionnaire that will help us make the best match for you and your new pet. We then arrange a location, date and time for you to meet some pets. If the meeting goes well and everyone is happy, you begin the two-week adjustment period with the pet as part of your family. This is a pending period to give your dog or cat time to adjust to their new home, new people, new routine, etc., and for you to decide if it's a match and the right pet for you. At the end of two weeks (some people extend the adjustment time as needed and that's fine too), if everyone is happy, then we finalize the adoption. Feel free to email if you have any questions.
