Snuggle's Story...
Introducing Snuggle and her baby Nuzzle! Snuggle is a proud mommy. But poor Snuggle is an abandoned mommy. She had 3 sets of kittens this year only to have all of them killed by neighborhood dogs or the freezing cold, which is why Nuzzle's brothers and sisters are not with him! Nuzzle is the only baby she has ever been able to keep thanks to the help of a kind lady who took them from the cold! Snuggle is 1 1/2 yrs old and Nuzzle is 6 weeks old! (May 3 2011) They have been to the vet for testing and mom has had her vaccines.

Snuggle has a lot of patience with little Nuzzle! She keeps a close eye on her little one, but sometimes she just needs a break! She is happy when we take him for supplemental feedings! Nuzzle is always on the go! He loves to tackle his mom since all his siblings are gone!

Update 5-13-2011: Little Nuzzle was adopted and mom Snuggle misses him very much. She sure would like to settle in a home of her own too, now that her little one is no longer relying on her for company. Why Adoption is a Great Option

Snuggle, a Harrisburg Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Harrisburg, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Harrisburg.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Harrisburg already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Harrisburg breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Harrisburg paves the way for another one to be saved.
