Hombre's Story...
Listed 7-24-11
This little guy, is about 6 months old, and weighs 5 pounds. He is all black except for a few white hairs on his back leg. He is a loving playful guy.
He was found by a bicycler along the Okla. river.
He could not keep the puppy so he brought him to me. He was so dirty, as I was bathing him, the water and soap were brown. He had ticks, which I picked off of him. His nails were long, and he was so thirsty, he was scared to death of the bath, but wanted to try and get a drink of the water. And then, wow did he scarf up the food offered to him.
I wonder how any normal person could go off and leave a puppy in the heat ....... Oh yeah, they are not normal or they would not have done this to one of God's creatures who we are suppose to care for........
He will go on Tues (7-26) to get his vet work done and then he will be looking for a home to call his own, where he will be loved and cared for.....
His adoption fee is $100.00
Please note that we do not adopt to families with children under the age of 10 years old and we require a fenced in yard.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Hombre, a Edmond Chihuahua puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Chihuahua for sale in Edmond, or seeking a Chihuahua puppy from a breeder in Edmond.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Edmond already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Edmond breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Chihuahua breeders who help with Chihuahua rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Edmond paves the way for another one to be saved.
