NUTMEG's Story...
My name is Nutmeg, but my foster parents call me Meg. I am a purebred Papillion. I am a small 4.7 pounds little girl.

I don't eat much and love attention. I love to sit and fall asleep on your lap. I am about 10 months old so I am still a puppy and have lots of life in me. I like to play and love playing with dogs. I haven't been with cats as of yet, but I bet I would love them also.

I sleep in a crate at night and if my foster parents go away for a while, I will be very comfortable in the crate. We are working on potty training - I still have accidents sometimes.

I have been spayed, am up to date on shots, have been microchipped, and tested heart worm negative. I would love to have a forever home with a family that would love to have lots of love from me. I am good with children, but because of my small size, I would prefer a home with children over the age of five.

All I really need is a loving family, a little food, lots of attention and love, love, love! If you think you might be the family for me, please fill out an application!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

NUTMEG, a Beavercreek Papillon puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Papillon for sale in Beavercreek, or seeking a Papillon puppy from a breeder in Beavercreek.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Beavercreek already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Beavercreek breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Papillon breeders who help with Papillon rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Beavercreek paves the way for another one to be saved.
