Merlin's Story...
Merlin is one of the PAWS of Coronado Top Gun kittens. His siblings Hollywood and Iceman have already found their forever homes, but Merlin and his brother Maverick are still waiting for the purrfect family.

Merlin’s personality is true to his name – he is curious, inquisitive and mischievous. He is also a little darling who you can’t help but love. He calls to whoever is near, climbs on your lap and shoulder and nuzzles you in pleasure.

This young boy is black with underlying tabby strips that shimmer in the sunlight. He's soft as can be and gets along well with other cats. In fact, you can find him sharing the kitten community room with other youngsters his age.

Come meet Merlin any day at the Coronado Animal Care Facility. Someone from the Cat Adoption Team would be happy to introduce you and answer any questions you may have.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Merlin, a Coronado Domestic Shorthair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Coronado, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair kitten from a breeder in Coronado.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Coronado already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Coronado breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Coronado paves the way for another one to be saved.
