Buela is a sweet Sharpei mix that needs a home :o) She was a staff favorite at a Los Angeles shelter - they liked her so much and did something out of the ordinary, kept her alive for six months.
There are so many dogs in the LA shelter that it is hard to get a fair chance on the run way. The LA shelter staff the begged for us to take her, so we did! Unfortunately, she resides a a Doggie Resort, and NEEDS to get into a foster home or permanent home as soon as possible.
Buela loves Car rides, and long walks! A happy go lucky sharpei mix…she has all the reason not to trust mankind but when we, as her guardians were recently introduced to her there was immediate affection. She loved us immediately, not knowing who we were, just happy that someone was giving her attention.
She is fine meeting other dogs on her walks throughout the park, paying little mind; just going on her way! Buela is just being happy; chasing the squirrels in the park, and everything is a new adventure, just like a puppy, she seems to be seeing everything for the first time. Amazing after all she has gone through, surviving a 6 month stay in a LA shelter..she most certainly deserves her own home…she will be a loyal companion forever.
Buela is about 40 pounds, all vaccinations, spayed and healthy!
Even though she is a mix, she is true to her sharpei heritage - she is a bit independent, but very loving and terribly smart! We are looking for a home - or even fosterhome for her - so if you are interested please let us know right away!
