My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

UPDATE 8/13/11: 08/13/11: Hi! Yoshie here. and I'm here to tell you about my week. What a week I’ve had too! I am staying in my new “digs” while my foster mom is searching for my forever home. I have made new friends at a place called “my vet’s office”, where I met my “dogtor”. He and his staff took wonderful care of me and pronounced me in good shape to join my forever family! I'll let my new Foster Mom tell you what she knows, mostly because she controls my computer usage and I hate to brag. (It’s not polite to brag you know!)

Hello, I’m Yoshie’s Foster Mom.

First of all, I'm happy to report Yoshie came through his neutering, his dental and his micro chipping feeling good! He is now current on all of his shots. He is healthy, happy and loves to be close and cuddle! He's a bit shy when he first meets people, but who wouldn't be in a new place with a new routine. He gets along well with his housemate and neighbor dog. I'm really pleasantly amazed by how friendly he is and how when given time he warms up to people quickly. He's got no known issues with people, or other dogs. I don’t know how he does with cats or other pets.

Yoshie is very curious and has sniffed and walked his way around everything he can. He'll walk around the yard and the house and investigate. I found out he walks on a leash but will need some fine tuning in order to have a more enjoyable experience.
He is house broken, and he has trained me to recognize when he is asking to go out. He is a good eater. All in all he loves to be held and snuggled and loved on and loves to give kisses. He seems like a quick little learner and I'm certain he'll make a wonderful addition to someone's family. Please feel free to email me with any questions.

Initial Bio 08/02/11: Hi! My name is Yoshie and I'm approximately 4 1/2 years old. I weigh about 8 lbs. My life’s had a few changes in the last 3 days. I've spent a lot of time in cars and now I'm in a new house with my foster Mom. I'll let my new Foster Mom tell you what she knows about me, mostly because she controls my computer usage and I hate to brag. (It’s not polite to brag you know!)

Hello, I’m Yoshie’s Foster Mom.
First of all, I'm happy to report Yoshie is a VERY loving little guy! He is healthy, happy and loves to be close and cuddle! He's a bit shy when he first meets people, but who wouldn't be in a new place with a new routine. He follows me from room to room, wanting to be next to me at all times. He gets along well with the two other dogs he’s met so far and one of them lives here too. I'm really pleasantly amazed by how friendly he is and how when given time he warms up to people quickly. He's got no known issues with people, or other dogs. I don’t know how he does with cats and other pets.

Yoshie will play with toys on his own. He is very curious and has sniffed and walked his way around everything he can. He'll walk around the yard and the house and investigate. I found out he walks on a leash but will need some fine tuning in order to have a more enjoyable experience.
He is house broken, and as yet had only one accident, as I learn to recognize when he is asking to go out. He is a good eater and his first visit to the vet will be on 08-04. He is scheduled for his shots, and an exam. He will be scheduled to be neutered next week.

All in all he loves to be held and snuggled and loved on and loves to give kisses.
I hope you enjoy the photos. I'll get more photos as I can and keep you all posted on his progress. He seems like a quick little learner and I'm certain he'll make a wonderful addition to someone's family. Please feel free to email me with any questions
