Sylvester's Story...
My sister and I were so small when we were rescued, we had to have a tiny litterbox, because we couldn't jump into the big one. We weren't too sure about the kitten chow either, so we got can food and kitty milk, until we could figure it out. We still like our can food in the morning. Lucky for us, a little bigger kitty was rescued at the same time. She showed us how to do just about everything. I wish she would let me clean myself, but she thinks she still has to do it. She doesn't know, that I have grown to be a big boy. My sister and I like to gang up on her. Boy, do we have fun.
I heard I am going to get a home of my own. I would like that now, since I am so big. I have been neutered, had my kitten vaccinations, and Fel/Fiv tested, and I am micro-chipped. For information please contact Pam at 314-452-8009 or p1street@charter.net

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Sylvester, a Sunset Hills Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Sunset Hills, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Sunset Hills.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Sunset Hills already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Sunset Hills breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Sunset Hills paves the way for another one to be saved.
