T-Rex is a gorgeous 23-month-old rottie. He was adopted as a young pup but was surrendered back to Animal Care when his family moved out-of-state. T-Rex is incredibly smart and loves to learn new commands. His trainer loves him and feels that the skies-the-limit on what he can learn. T-Rex recently had ACL surgery and is now doing at-home physical therapy. He loves the exercise! The vet says he is recovering very well. He willingly goes into his "room" (crate) at night and whenever left alone. He is currently living with a family with a dog and has gotten along beautifully with his "sister" since the first day, never showing any food or toy aggression. He is still very young, so he has a lot of energy and needs someone strong who can walk him. He would prefer a home without children.

His adoption fee is $200.00

Why Adoption is a Great Option

T Rex, a Brewster Rottweiler dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Rottweiler for sale in Brewster, or seeking a Rottweiler dog from a breeder in Brewster.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Brewster already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Brewster breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Rottweiler breeders who help with Rottweiler rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Brewster paves the way for another one to be saved.
