Taz's Story...
Hello there - my name is Taz. I am a female Chihuahua "mutt" born August 2010. My mom was a Chihuahua mix but not sure who my daddy was. My mom was brought into the shelter pregnant and she had me there! I am doing well with crate training and can use a dog door. I am a little shy at first so I take a bit to warm up to strangers and other dogs. I am good with kids and not too fragile for them since I weigh about 20pds. Please let me be a part of your family.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Taz, a Mesa Chihuahua puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Chihuahua for sale in Mesa, or seeking a Chihuahua puppy from a breeder in Mesa.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Mesa already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Mesa breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Chihuahua breeders who help with Chihuahua rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Mesa paves the way for another one to be saved.
