My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

MERCER- We are looking for a philanthropist to care for this Amazing Alaskan Husky, 12 years old and looking for a nice, comfortable Forever Home to live out his retirement.

Mercer has FINISHED THE IDITAROD FOUR TIMES with a Musher here in Colorado from Buena Vista!!!!!

He is very sweet, is up to date on all vaccinations, and will enjoy an easy going home that is still willing to walk him and give him lots of love. He walks politely on a Gentle Leader

He was never neutered, and we ask that he never be- (a first for TPU), yet we don't think at his age and experience that this will ever be a problem.

This dog is a LEGEND! Thunder Puppy will always be here to help, but with his laid back lifestyle and attitude, Merc will make a great addition to any home. He is used to outdoors, is not an escape artist, and just loves to be loved. He will need a yard to play in, no apartments please.

Don't let his age fool you! Very spry, and suprisingly full of "personality", it would be an honor for anyone to take him into their heart and home. WE LOVE MERCER!
