Sophie's Story...
Can you beleived no one claimed little ol me when I showed up at the pound? Well lucky for you I'm up for adoption! I'm full of puppy energy and would love a fenced in yard and maybe some kids to run and play with. I'm learning how to properly walk on a leash. At first I was a little scared of it but am getting better. If you think I'm the girl for you please contact Ashley at ace_04@live.com or Linda at s.hoefing@mchsi.com. You can also call Linda's phone at 712-246-3236. They are willing to travel to find me the best forever home.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Sophie, a Shenandoah Australian Cattle Dog puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Australian Cattle Dog for sale in Shenandoah, or seeking a Australian Cattle Dog puppy from a breeder in Shenandoah.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Shenandoah already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Shenandoah breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Australian Cattle Dog breeders who help with Australian Cattle Dog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Shenandoah paves the way for another one to be saved.
